Hey guys, Working on cleanin up my 85 k-10 dash pad. New ones are like $300. The old on in it has some screw holes and cracks in them. Is there a way I can repair the cracks and holes and repaint it?

the holes would be easier to fix, then the cracks. Kragen sells the dash repair goop. I guess you could use that then just dye the whole dash or have an upolstery shop dye it for you......about 100.00.

thanks for the input guys.. I might try the fabric if you guys say it will be hard to repair... I think I will have trouble trying to cover it with fabric tho... I know you can get dash covers and stuff but I wanted to try and just keep this one

IMO, go with a molded plastic dashboard cover.

You'll probably want to knock down the high spots around the cracking so it sits nice/flush/level.

But I've seen some covers that, while not quite as nice as a NOS OEM dash, still look damn good for $100

Just say "no" to fabric covered dashes.
