Is there a way to remove the radiator support on a 88-98 Silverado? I looked through my Chiltons Manual but couldn't find anything... I am getting ready to drop the 454 in and any extra space I can get would be good!

I found that the radiator support has 2 bolts that are left hand thread...that means lefty tighty, righty loosie...

On my 97, they were located behind the bumper mounts kinda and they werent coming loose when i was turning the wrench left...so then i went right and they snapped loose and threaded out...i checked them out and realized that they were left hand threaded

what made you chose a 454 over a 6.0?
The 454 has more displacement and it bolts right up, I can use all stock parts. I also don't trust myself with a 6.0, if I got one I would probably drop it into my 02 Silverado instead of my 89 that needs it!!!
