Hello fellow truck owners,

I have an 88 GMC Sierra that I inherited from my grandfather with 189,234 miles. I am a new truck owner with little experience and was hoping y'all could help. I've recently had to replace 2 different bulbs in the passenger side rear housing. Now, the drivers side head light and the drivers side break light aren't working. The left turn signal isn't either because It does the super speed signal on the dash. Both rear running lights work, though. All of these issues started after I hooked up to an old trailer and connected the lights to the truck harness. Later that day, when I went to unhook said trailer, the harness was 50% melted. I'm afraid that I may have serious internal electrical issues now. Any advice? Do the driver side front and break lights share a fuse or is it a fuse for the front lights and a fuse for the rear lights? Where are those fuses, because I couldn't locate them unfortunately.
