I'm trying to hook up the keyless entry feature with my directed electronics remote start system. The instructions say my truck has a "type C" lock setup. Then it doesn't bother to show a wiring diagram for this system.

Any help would be appreciated.

C-type is reversible polarity
Pull out the drivers side dash speaker if its a 89-94, or move the door boot back into the door some on all 89-99 trucks. I think in that truck the wires are white and lt blue. Depending on what setup your using, Run the wires like this:
green/black to the truck side of the lock wire (white I think)
white/black to the door side of the lock wire
blue/black to the truck side of unlock
brown/black to the door side of unlock
purple and plurple/black to a constant +

These are the lock/unlock wires:

POWER LOCK|lt. blue |*1 |
POWER UNLOCK|black/red |*1 |
located in either harness in the
door jamb.

You will most likely need relays.

It's 5 wire reverse (type C) locks on the two door models,
and positive trigger (type A) locks on the four door
and keyless entry models.

See both of these relay applications at
