Hi i have a 98 chevy silverado c1500 xnd i was wandering if 31x10.5x15 tires would with without rubbing or would i have to get a 2 inch leveling kit for the front? the stock size is 235/75/15 or 28.9x9.25x15 also the leveling kit would be coil spacers are these alright for your front end or will cause problems eventually? I'm new to this stuff

i'm guessing you're 2wd and most of these fools are talking about 4x4's which have a lot more clearance on the front.

it might be close on factory height, but with the 2" lift you should be alright.

not sure what you're talking about with the preload coil spacers. is it not just a spacer that goes on your coil spring?

well when i was doing research on the coil spacers there were 2 types. one that goes on the top of your strut if you have them which pushes them down to achieve lift. then theres the ones that go on your coil springs which preload the coils to achieve the lift but give a harsher ride than stock which is expected but supposebly keeps the stock suspenion geometry. I'll try the 31s on the stock suspension and see how I like it then probably get the coil spacers. thanks for all your guys input also Ravine how much did your gas mileage go down after you put the 31s on the 94 c1500?
