hey guys, so ive had my 98 k1500 for about 4 months now and it never had a problem till now. first off, its a 1998 k1500 with the 5.7 automatic trans. air raid cold air intake, throttle body spacer and a flowmaster exhaust system.
the other day i was sitting at a red light for about 3 minutes and the truck out of no where died on me, no warning or anything it just cut its self off. no check engine light came on and it started right up afterwards. now the truck does it at least once a day but it will happen no matter what im doing. most of the time is when i let off the gas or put it into gear, all the lights on the dash will come on and the truck will try and die but i can save it by giving it gas so ive had to run a few stop signs before to keep it alive. it now also has a rough idle sometime and will try and kill itself but doesnt. when it does die now, its hard to start, i have to press the gas to get it to start. still no check engine light so its hard to diagnose this one.
the truck does have a new cap, rotor, plugs and wires plus a newer fuel pump so im stuck on what it can be.
