In the s15 jimmy i have, lately i have been running the air more since its getting hotter.. Ever since the day i started to, it has taken longer to start (not turn over) and today it died on me in the middle of the road. Kept trying to get it started and got of the road finally. Then waited 5 mins and it started up and drove me around without problems.

What might be causing these weird problems?

Sounds like an ignition control module? AC could be drawing some power and drainging your battery.

Those older blazers and jimmys are known for ignition control modules ging bad and doing just that. hard start, start, run for a bit and dies, wait awhile and it runs fine. Its just odd that i starts hn the AC is being run.

No they will run intermittently. Sometmes fireright up, sometimes nothing, sometimes it dies while driving. Some times you can get away with cleaning the connections.
