Aim Is Shit!

I know it's been said 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 but AIM FUCKIN SUCKS. I've been bagging the rear of a 4wd S-10 using their triangulated 4 link, guess what....NOTHING LINES UP. I had to modify the bag mounts, holes, shock mounts, and the triangulated link mount. Now the damn shocks touch the bags so I'm going to have to fab some new shock mounts for the truck and upper bag brackets. I wished he'd asked me what to get cause I'd have him setup with the KP kit. Just venting cause I've been working on it for the last 2 days and put in 13 hours today and I'm just about 70% done :flame:

If I were you and I would have seen the shitty parts he bought, I would have told him NO THANKS! :read:
I would anyone else, but this guy is rich. He's 17 and has a shaved S-10 showtruck and a 68 Camaro SS with a 383 stroker that looks like it just rolled off the assembly line and he has 43K in it. He just told me to name my price and he'd give me the money.
Thats good, should have said, return the kit and get some quality parts. His truck will be a deathtrap with that shit on it :imo
In that case...finish the install, but let him know it was a pain in the fukn ass tho too
sorry to hear that your having such a hard time with that POS 4-link. But, atleast you're makin' money.

He knows, he's there helpin me a little bit and he can't believe nothing works.
i wouldn't have even installed it for him. If it breaks, he might hold you responsible for damage done to his truck.
That sucks...

for reference when we installed my KP rear kit everything lined up. We didn't have to grind down a single piece of metal. Everything lined up perfectly and went together in about 10 hours total even though we were going slow.

rack one more up for AIM horror stories...
damn mr eplay, Hope it all works out for you:thumbsup:
That sucks, but it doesnt amaze me that the shAIM crap wont line up. My KP kit took me 8 hours to do, and no grinding of metal either. Just thought I'd make you jealous. :guns:
You're a fool for even agreeing to install that AIM shit. Their horrible quality parts will make you look like a horrible installer. :read:
I ended up fabbing some new upper and lower bag brackets, upper and lower shock mounts, a mounting plate for the triangulated link. Pretty much the only thing on there from shaim now is the front links and the triangulated link.
What surprises me is that if this guy has money, why would he buy the cheapest crap?

Another one of these idiots that thinks airbag setups are all the same and are all the same quality. He didn't think he was buying from AIM cause of how they now have several different names. He bought the kit from truckin suspensions (which is really AIM)
Unfortunately, this company is what Truckin' magazine fills up their pages with. We can't really blame him if he doesn't know much about suspension manufacturers....
aim is some good stuff....

for paperweights and throwing away money. im glad i dont have any of their stuff on my truck anymore

Good for turning in to scrap yards too. I bet you could get more per pound that what you paid for it all.

 thats not too far from the truth. you could very likely get more per pound than you could selling it to someone else as used parts
