I just recently purchased a new alpine 9830 cd player on ebay, and it worked great for the first week, but all of a sudden it's been randomly stopping, and will work for a second if you go over a slight bump, but after you hit another one it stops working. This applies for both a CD and the radio. I had crimps on the harness to graft them together, but after it started acting queer, i pulled those off, and soldered all the connections together, and still acts tue same.

I grounded the actual cd player, and also the harness ground, but it's still acting up. Any idea guys? I noticed when it's not working, the equalizer isn't going up and down? is it an internal problem? should i have a local sound shop bench test it? Could a loose speaker wire in a speaker cause this (the front right speaker has been acting weird). Just give me some suggestions and i'll see if i've tried them yet. It's brand new, so could i send it back to alpine?
