Mike, that looks awesome! Its about time I see the wheels on that thing! When am I getting some nice pics for the website? :D
If you want dirty pics i'll crop the bnc logo and you can use those. It will pobably be 2 weeks before i can get with Austin for pics, unless we have time after the show next week.

Bill, I'm giving thought to doing the bumper, if i can find someone to mold in metal to relace the airdam. Unless i decide to put a bumper on the back again than the front bumper will stay black.

Slash4824, that's cool, i don't expect eveyone to like it.

Dude have you driven it yet? I want comparisons of the old suspension setup vs. this one. :D

Ride, handling, pinion vibration (or lack thereof), shit like that. :bowtie:

Are the dual shocks up front for extra stiffness so you can ride lower?

It rides as good or better than the old set up(i've been told, I had my moms BF drive it to the shop to fix the alarm, because i didn't want to sit on the side of the road if anything else went wrong). The dual shocks keep the nose from diving in hard cornoring. :rocking: No pinion vibrtion, or wheel hop. :rocking:
Once the alarm is fixed, i'll take it out to play.

Oh, and I was, after seeing the truck on level ground the skid plates don't let it layout as much anymore........the bed doesn't hitthe ground anymore so that's good.

And before someone asks about the positive camber at full lock, that's from shortening the control arms. I kew it was going to happen, and i'll never drive it at that height so i'm not worried..

SWEET!!!...

Did you get your really low ride height accomplished? If so, how low is your actual ride height?
It will ride scraping the ground.....once rob fixes the passenger side shock mount. if we go to low right now the shock rubs the tire. Gotta get the truck to him Weds.

Turned out GREAT Mike. I'd make you an offer if your truck was a fleetside

B&C lowered my truck too, you copied me
If I decide to rebuild my truck instead of sell, it will be a fleetside(might get a GMC front clip too). :D

Mike. I will be at LFT so I can get pics there if you want. Or if you have some place in town you want pics at, I will have time after LFT. Just tell me what day you wanna do it, and I'll ask for that day off.

why no love for the stepside?
Just to change things up some. I like the stepside better though because you see fewer bodydropped.

baggedinblack, spring is in north houston. maybe we'll run into each other at a show sometime.

Austin, we'll figure something out.

Sorry, to hear that. I like the stepside bed because as you've said, it's different. You should keep the Chevy front end too. It seems like everyone and their mom is installing GMC clips now. :nono:

True, but if I do it it's the easiest way to make it a whole new truck.....on the outside anyway. I'm really wanting a CC though.

maybe get the cab and bed from an 04 CC and keep the 99-02 front end. im willing to bet that nobody built a 99-02 half ton crew cab, and one bagged and body dropped would be crazy :rocking:
