Im kinda new to all this. Im gettin a new CD player for my truck cause the stock ones broke. Im thinkin about gettin some subs. Maybe Sony Xplod 10's. Do u have to have an amp to run these? I think u do but not sure. If u do then I would prabaly go with a Xplod amp. Is this a decent setup for it to beat pretty good? Will I need different speakers?

Im not going to bash sony but there is alot better subs and amps out there for equal price range that have better quality

what kinda of music you listen to and what do you drive? CC, EC or SC

They have some 10" Diamond Audio M3 and also some 10" Phoenix Gold subs on eBay for around $50 to $60 each....I know someone with the Phoenix Golds, and they are alright...definately a lot better than Xplod.

for about the same price you could get a pair od Cerwin Vegas that I have and really love, the HED DVCs
