Hey guys, ive been trying to come up with something for a while but im still a little uncertain on what i can do. I have a full brushguard on the front and it required the removal of the factory hooks, however i actually used them. I havent gone off road lately because IF i get stuck i have no recovery point. There is a pic of my brushguard in my album if someone who is more forum savvy than I, wants to post up for quick visual reference. I am open to any thoughts or suggestions, BUT i wont remove it because i like the look too much.

I have both, and wasn't required to take my hooks off. In your case, it's all about risk and reward. Choose wisely though, no recovery point=:suicide2:

Well it was only $250 at the time and had a wider opening at the grill for more lights than the westin guard which allowed the use of the factory hooks. So i chose looks over functionality because i planned on putting 4 kc's up front

Remind me next time you're off and I'm home, I have an idea that might work. Depending on how much room you've got between the frame horns and the brushguard mounts, you might could get a D-ring in there. Like have the brushguard mount go through the middle of the D-ring, then one of the bolts go through the frame horn/D-ring/brushguard mount in from the stock hole...maybe. I'll havta take a look next time I'm around
