I am wondering if there is anyone here running a setup a little bigger than mine on ifs? How is it holding up?:hmm:

Yeah there was some scientist on here that ran 44's on his truck. Worked out pretty good for him
I know, I think I remember that jerk!

Man, your truck looks perfect as is! QUIT THINKING ABOUT BIGGER TIRES!!!
i know, it's hard as hell with this site at the tip of your fingertips/brain, but don't change your tires. It looks fucking great as is stands:imo
You are like me and are never satisfied with your mods. I always need something newer/bigger/cooler and it sucks.:pow:

Why ask a question you already know the answer too?
either leave your truck as is, or step up to a 3/4 or 1 ton. :imo

lol, I know man. I was just looking around at wheels and I was looking at what size tires come it the sizes I would like. I would really like to get some 18x12's or 20x12's but not much choice in 18s but only 20s mostly.
I was looking at the pitbull 39s mabe next go round. I love the mickeys but I wish my dumb ass would have saved up for the better wheels not 15s.lol

Go at least 18s at the least. I think that would look great. I also love chrome alot more than polished aluminum.

I wanted welds but my wallet wants something else.lol I was looking at some 20x12 karat wheels or something like that.
Don't mean to hijack your thread but you seem the best to ask. I got an 02 with a RCD 6 and a 3 body. thinking about getting the bigdog 18x10s what would be a good tire to run on it?
your truck would look good with some 38x15.5 on some 18x12, or 20x12s, nothing bigger though
i have crome and i pretty much regret getting it. if i could do it all over again i would get polished. reason being is that you are able to polish them anytime something happens like if they get scratched or whatever then you can have them polished out and they practically look like chrome when you get done with them. ive only had my wheels for about 6 months and they already have a bunch of surface scratches. and just think about if your chrome starts to chip then your really screwed. so i would say go with some polished wheels. thats just my opinion.
the thing is weld doesnt make those big wheels anymore. The only way youre gonna be able to find them is by finding somebody who has them in stock from a while back and I don't think thats gonna happen. Pretty much youre only choice is custom billet or the cheaper 20s like the mazzis.

sadly enough, i'm going to agree with this... i live in a place where roadsalt is on the roads about 60% of the time, and my new wheels already have pits in them:flame: (and i keep the truck clean as hell). I'm thinking for my next wheels i'm just going to get some cheap polished 20x12 DC1s and not worry about them. If they end up looking like shit, i'll just get them powdercoated black.

Chrome looks so much better than polished, but it's much more "fragile". the polished DEFINATELY requires more maintainance, but at least they can be buffed out if they look like shit. Now, if i lived in Cali, it'd be a 100% different story:read:
what all 18x12's you find?? still cant decide on what wheel size im going to do this summer but it will most likely be a 12" wheel unless i keep my wheels for the first go round and some 37 boggers. decisions decisions

My current Welds are chrome, they were on CaliHD's dads ride for sometime and they are still perfect, IMFO. Weld did have the best chrome process, so they said, so thats probably why. I will never own polished wheels, fuck that :imo Chrome gets me home
putting a 12" wide wheel on a 1/2 ton... :nono:

or anything smaller than a dana 60 really...
Your truck looks great right now, keep the claws
