How do they hold up to a impact gun? I'm either getting my powder coated black when my wheels get done, or im buying some black ones. Im just wonder if they would mar up and flake off if they were coated.

Mine have held up just fine. I would compare the price between powdercoating chrome ones and buying already black ones and go with whatever is cheaper.

mine are holding up fine. even after rolling around on the floor.

i found a set of 32 on ebay for 72 with shipping, and the when i called about the wheels, he said he could do the lugs, just never quoted a price, i dont know if he'll do it when he does the wheels or not. 200 bucks to media blast, clean them in some solution and powder coat them, i think thats a great price.

Buying ones that are already black would be the easiest option. I bought summit brand lug nuts. The impact has hit them a few times and they still look new.
