Ok, I think I have the drivetrain about where I want it. It's fast enough for a daily driver (i can't believe i said that) for now. However, some worked heads and cam are coming up.
But, I want to get the appearance mods going. All these nice looking trucks have me thinking about some exterior mods.
Obviously, from the looks of my truck, I'm not into the bling, lol. So, the mods are going to subtle, but just enough to get it looking good.

Here are my plans, now I need to know where to get the stuff.

New smoothie bumper
New billet grill
New headlights, turns and signals (i like clear up front only)
Cowl hood
Tinted windows (got that covered)

I have an acct. over at truckperformance.com so if there' something on there let me know.

btw, speaking of tint, I just tuned an SS Silvy that had a front tinted window, 5%, WOW WOW WOW, what a difference, it felt cozzy and all the glare was gone. No more bright lights at night and during the day (well it was raining) the sun glare was unoticable. I like that idea and probably will do it. I know it's illegal, blah blah, lol, but it looked great.

thanks,

allen

The limo tint really helps when your driving and the sun is on the driver's side. Like you said, you don't feel the glare. But try riding in one during the night before you make your decision. It can be hard to see at times.

that all sounds good Allen, are you going to lower the truck at all? thats something to consider also.....Im assuming you work at an Auto Performance shop, so maybe you should try to got through the shop so you can get the parts at cost as opposed to the retail prices....

ya, it's lowered 2/4, you can hardly notice it on these obs trucks, imo,
i plan on going for the dealer stuff, just wanted to get an idea on who makes the good products, i can tell you what works on the drivetrain lol, but appearance mods are always last to me, haha,
so what lights are cheap, i don't want them to fog up within a year or so.

thanks for the input,

allen
