Whats crackin everyone? I bought a 02 2500 series avalanche and want to run 37 inch tires on it. I have been lookin at cst, whiplash, fullthrottle, etc has anyone here lifted an avalanche to this size or bigger? and which kit did you use. I am against body lifts so it has to be all suspension. Any help would be great.
P.S. I already tore that ugly plastic body cladding off and taped over the the holes and line x the body. some what not as ugly now

i have same kit as sevenfold with a body lift. As he said, i don't think i could be any happier with my lift. I have had it for less than a week and already got alot of comments. (this is area full of big trucks so it means that much more)
Any lift from a 10" to a 12" would be perfect for 37's. I'd recommend cognito or full throttle.

Yah get some pics of what you did...i cant picture it. If i were you, i'd color match those moldings. I think avalanches look sweet as hell lifted with color matching

The front Bumper on your truck is like four bolts, put that bad boy back on! or at least a poser shot with a bumper on it! Just been pissing me off, but i love u

Cognito makes a 7-9" kit perfect for running 37's on an 8-lug Avalanche. You don't need 10 or 12 inches.

no i'm not taking a pic...stupid ass painted bumper that wasn't sanded. It's chipping off so i'm going to take all the paint off

Ill get some picks when things start shapping up. With the stock ride height it isnt lookin to good. I got the idea of the line x from the petersons off road and there avalanche at last years offroad expo at pomona.
For the front and rear I thinking about building a prerunner bumper that will house a winch for the front. I was looking at the road armor bumpers and Im not going to spend that much for a bumper. How much did you guys pay for the cognito 10"-12" lift? What gear ratio are you running? I have stock 4.10 but I was thinking 4.56 might do it. What do you guys think?

Oh JLA the 7-9" kit, will the tires clear the fenders or will I have to pull out the hammer for them to clear?

Does Cognito make lifts for 4x2s or just 4x4s?

Somebody does make front gears for that application, but they are hard to come by.
