The extra box is just the wiring n stuff, it's easier to wire up because it tells you were to put what. I have it and it works good!

My friend darrell has that exact one in his truck, and yes the box is for the wiring. Makes it 10x's easier to hook every thing up!

Yep and I think the ones with the box have a lock........my first one didnt have a lock or the box but my new one has both!

Dont think there are any relays. It's just to make wiring the box to your system easier. Insead of splicing the wires together, you just connect them to the appropriate post on the box.
Ah ok, well then that explains it then.

AVS Seven Switch's dont have the locks where as the AVS Nines have them.......

Terminal strips don't have all the switch combo's prewired into one little nice box for you either telling you where to put what lol. :crazy:
Actually it would cause all combos are pre wired in the box and all you have is 1 wire going to eay valve, so I barrier strip would work. I use one with my 10 switch box in my truck. And every switch works like it should.
