Axle Problems?

I have a 2000 Z71. Just recently I have noticed that my driverside tire in the back has been wearing more on the inside. I jacked it up to see if it wiggled in and out and it doesn't. Driving down the road it looks like the tire is wobbling. Does anyone know what this could be? Also I noticed that when I turned the rear tires (with them in the air) there is a 2 inch playwhen i turn the tire forward and backward before the other starts to turn. Any help on these would be greatly appreciated

Tire way out of balance maybe? The play is normal.
Yeah the play is probably just the normal backlash. I would have your tires balanced.
It's probably just out of balance from spinning the tires and chucking the weights off of it that's all.
If you have hauled any excessively heavy loads you could have bent something too, but most likely it's a tire issue. Has the truck been wrecked at all? That could mess stuff up.
Would a bent wheel do that? Somebody could have backed into your tire or something and bent it just a little w/o scratching it.. Dont know if that would act the same or not, but it is an Idea
I went to Big O today and they took a quick look at it and couldn't figure it out. He said that the tire being out of balance wouldn't cause it. I haven't hauled anything heavy i a LONG time so i would have noticed a bent axle before. Could it be dog legging?
does it track straight?? If it was dog-legging I'd think you'd be able to see behind it that it's going a little crooked.
hey i had the same prob with mine and the stock 10-bolt can't hold alot of pressure with bigger tires(mine did it with 36's) if you look from the back of the truck very close look towards the pumpkin and see if has bent it downward a little bit, after a while it will look like you have dropped a big ass rock on top of it.
It could be a bent wheel i've seen that happen before.
damn cowboy nice truck. I was looking through your pics of it earlier without the monster tires and that thing looked like it could go through anything. Hows the offroading with those big ass tires?

now back to the thread i think a bent wheel could be a good possibility like bnb99 said.
