Looking to put a Flowmaster Super 40 on my '92 1500 350. I want to dump it BEFORE the axle, so what exit arrangement should I go with?

3"IN/Dual 2.5" OUT

or

3"IN/3"OUT

or something else?

And about how much pipe after the muffler?

I want to maintain sufficient backpressure so I don't lose my low end. Let me know, thanks!

Mines got 3" in dual 2.5" out, no problem. I think either way you go there is no problem, as long as you have your cat and your pipes aren't ricer sized, you should be fine.
