Alright so about a week ago I noticed a pretty loud buzzing sound coming from both my XM and my regular radio stations. At first I thought it was just the station I was on buy after blowing through every one I could think of I realized that somehow after 2 years of having my XM I'm getting background noise from the motor. I can tell it's the motor because when I get on the gas the buzzing gets higher pitched as I go through each gear and slows down when I'm off the gas. It's also noticeable through my regular FM stations now also.

I have the RoadyXT with the FM adapter kit if that's any help. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

make sure its grounded to the same spot as the radio. It could also be one of your spark plug wires got cracked and is "leaking" RF, seen that a few times

Id unplug the antenna from where it goes into the XM piece, see if the noise goes away, if so it might be picking up the noise from under the hood at the spark plug wires like I said
