Would it be alright to throw my tails in the oven for a while to let the candy paint dry?? its hot outside, but the humidity is high too, so its gonna take too long for them to dry...and the bad thing is my oven only goes to 170º....is that low enough to not damage the plastic or should i just bring them inside and let them dry really slowly??

well this isn't entirely true. My Dupont clear comes with "baking instructions" on the back. I think it is talking about a heated paint both and not an oven. If done wrong baking the paint could cause it to bubble or do something else weird while drying.
