what are you supposed to use to seperate the bj's from the knuckle when installing a knuckle lift? i started my cognito kit today and we had to use a pickle fork to get them apart, but it raped the rubber boot on a couple pretty bad. just curious if there was a better way.

thats teh ticket. a nice 4lb mini sledge (atleast) and a pickle fork makes quick work of that kind of stuff.

when you do it be shure that the nut is still on the bj or you might have a coil spring come flying at you, and have a jack under the lower control arm but not touching it
