I'm in the process of putting lift spindles on my truck, and I can't get the balljoints separated from the stock spindles. I've got a "picklefork" type balljoint separator as indicated in the Haynes repair manual, but can't get them to budge. Is there a trick to this??
You really have to beat the shit out of them. When you think you're hitting hard enough, hit harder! Its a pain in the ass for sure. Just keep going at it and change your angle every now and then.
