I just bought a set for my CC with a 2/4 drop. Has anyone else used these shocks before? Would they hinder the trucks launch any at the track as far as the rear not wanting to squat vs stock shocks?

Belltechs are not that stiff that i think it will matter for ya...

I've had bad luck with those but thats just my experience.I had them on my truck and had one go out after 6 months but thats just my luck probaly

Great, has anyone noticed that there truck did'nt launch as well after a 2/4 drop? Any suggestions on how to set the truck up for better 60ft. times. I run my truck in 4wd when racing so tractions not a real problem.

it wouldnt be from the drop becaus those shocks are specific to each drop application....

they blew cuz they suck!....get some Doetsch Techs..

i dont know much about drag racing but i would think a 2/4 dorp would help increase your time if anything by lowering your center of gravity...??...

Yeah they do suck but i wasn't gonna be so harsh.I'm runnin toxics now but thats just cause i get them at cost and from what i've heard no one complains about the Doetsch Techs.Maybe i'll try those next.

Man i hate to hear that.Some one just told me about the using cheap u bolts so i took those off asap and threw my stocks on.

Well I went with the better belltechs hopeing for a good shock, but maybe I just wasted my money.

Don't get your hopes down.From what i was told the were good shocks.Its hard to compare cause everyone has their own preference.Maybe you'll like em.Who knows.Shocks is one of those trial and error things.

my belltech shocks blew as soon as it got off the lift from the lowering job. both front blew at the same time. kyb is what i have now.

I've had my actives for a yr and a half now, did some long distance towing this past summer and they are still holding up. I love em.

When I had my static drop I tried just about every shock out there and Belltech Nitro Actives were the only shock that I would use again. The KYB's (when they first came out) were to soft, Edelbrock didn't have a shock at the time for a 4/6 But I loved their shock on my 2/4. I never used Toxics. To me Doetsch Techs just sucked, they were waaaaay to soft. My 12 yr old could compress them.
