Looking for a tuner I can plug into my obd 2 port and change modes on the fly per say. Ik blackbear is the best and I SHOULD go with them. BUT I wanna be able to change my tune WITHOUT having to keep sending my ecm away. That being said. What's the best handheld tuner for the lowest dollar amount possible?

best and lowest cost doesnt mix.

BB Autocal will let you keep your truck running while getting tune updates.

Ik but i really like the feature to change it as I wish. Use the economy for daily driving and performance once in a while. Just like the option to be able to tune as I choose
A good tune will also give you the best of both worlds.

Ik but it's my daily driver and I can't have it down so sending my ecu in for a tune isn't an option right now.
 so get the Autocal

changing the tune will not net much of a power change. Most it will do seat of the pants will be felt from the Trans side. Just tune the tow haul to be more aggressive. Then you can feel like you are actually doing something. Hand helds don't do dick.

With the autocal you don't send in your ecu. You buy the autocal which is a programmer and they make tunes for you. You can change the tunes anytime you want. But like said above a good tune gives best of both. Good milage when your light on throttle, then turns into a beast when you get into it

Agree with others. You don't have the need to change tunes for "economy" and "power". My car has switchable maps where I can do what you're talking about, but it's mostly for when different fuels are used since it's a turbo application. On a truck, tune it and forget about it.

Also, tune for the best gas you have available. Don't be cheap.
