are you planning on doing a lift? if so, just wait it out until you do the lift. if not i would say go with the 265's and you will be perfectly happy. with a spindle lift or something small, got with the 285. tires are great, my mom had them on her suburban and they were good in snow and ice and wet and dry. good luck

I disagree. I really like mine in those conditions and find they work really well in the snow/ice as well. Haven't really had them offroad for more than a few miles.
Totaly agree with you, I plowed for a majority of the winter with them and it was great. IMO they are a great buy!

I had a set of 285s when I had my small lift on and LOVED them, they rode nice, very quite, last along time, did AWSOME in winter, rain, and they even did pretty good in mud.:imo
