I leveled my Truck (07 silverado nnbs ext ltz stock 20"). I Just installed 305/55/20" and i been noticing a rather nasty sway to them.
I'm running 40 lbs. in all them,I pummped the rears to 45 to haul my Travel trailer (4700 lbs. dry weight) and it was brutal,I can't imagine in a crosswind.
Any of you guys have any issues like this?
Are those Tire Pressures too high?...too low?
I don't think its Ball joint issues or tie rods
I have been lurking here for awhile ,I'll post up pics when I get some junk off of it.
Thxs

are you sure its your tires and not how the weight is distributed with the trailer

Happen at high speeds? Is the trailer home made? If there is not enough tongue weight the trailer can sway dragging the truck along with it.

I'm thinking I might of had it Cranked to tight ,taking weight off the tongue.Putting the trailer issue aside, I still seem to find the Truck squishy (for the lack of a better word).
I had Michelins Ltx 2's on it and I didn't notice any handling issues.
I'll try a few things with the Trailer to make better tongue weight.
Thanks for the help,Also thanks to everyone that posts in here (All Forums),alot a good info goin' on i here and alot of nice Trucks.
