I'm considering putting a 3" Body Lift on my truck to go along with the leveling kit, and i'm just wondering how large of a tire i can put on if i stay with the stock rims. I have a 2003 Sierra 2500 HD. Thanks

Do at least 35s, there was a truck on here (1500 rcsb) with 37s but I think the stock rims would be too skinny for that tall of a tire. His truck looked sick though, from the side anyways.

I woud not go any bigger than a 315 I aint a fan of the stuffed tire look. You want some space in there.
315 on a stock rim probelly. People with Hds need to post some pics up

I don't recall seeing alot of HDs with 315s on the stock 6.5" rims...alot of 1/2 tons on the factory 7" and 7.5" wheels, though. Most of the HDs I've seen on here run aftermarket wheels...come to think of it, BigBlueHD is the only one I remember having a 3" BL on a HD, but my memory sux...

most ppl with 2500hds put 315s on the stock wheels with just a body lift. i had a friend with 16x8s and 35s with a body lift and a small crank. i personally think body lifts look horrible on 2500hds. my problem with putting 315s on stock wheels is that they are 6.5" wide.

on a 2500HD with a leveling kit you can fit 315's. I have a buddy who did it with stock rims and it looks good, better than a bl would on an hd truck. 315's will look good on stock rims with just a leveling kit.

I have a 2003 gmc 2500 ext. cab with new keys and 315 mud terrains. I also have a buddy with the same exact truck but its a chevy and another one with an 06 crew cab with the same thing. There is a little triming involved in the inner fender and possibly on the bumer but very minimal. If your going to put keys and a 3 inch body lift (which i would really not recomend because it looks shitty) you could prolly fit 38's on stock rims if they werent too wide....like a 12.50 or a 13.50.....i wouldnt go any wider than that due to scrubbing when turning. The offest on the stock rims are perfect for oversized tires.
