Ok here is the deal....I am still looking for a billet grille....but a problem is...my dad wont let me cut the stock grille at all...so that eliminates Trenz. I was looking on ebay and found this... it is the whole shell but its cheap as hell...and its already black so i wouldnt have to paint it....what do you think?
(then if i were to sell my truck i could put the stock grille shell back on too)

You will still have to paint it, it's in a semi-matte black, it looks gloss but matched to your clearcoat truck it will look like chit,

Price too good to be true? Nah it's aftermarket, its all cheap stuff.

I think he is saying you'll be getting what you pay for. If you pop 400 bux for an Official GM product, you'll be getting a product that will last you the life of the vehicle. If you buy aftermarket...well buyer beware. And we all know this...

Plus it says usable out of the box, but do you think it will really have a top notch paint job that you get from the factory on your truck? At best it will look decent...after all...it is third party.

Well heres the thing...My dad won't let me cut the factory grille...im not sure what a clip over grille would look like...i mean i would have to get a billet GMC emblem but they are expensive as hell...
any suggestions?
