Could someone shed some light on this as far as the process, how they hold up, and the cost. Do you have to start with a chrome wheel or is that totally irrelevant? Also, if anyone has pics of any please post. I'm thinking of going this route.
no problem man. i like to give a helping hand from time to time. the black and chrome holds up real good to what ive seen. i havent heard or read of any funk with the style of wheel. price is based on choice and what you want. they are made that way so no they arent chrome and then redone with the black. Thanks that helps out a lot. You have been most helpful. If black is gay then there are many flaming ****'s riding around so you won't have any problem finding yourself a buddy. Please I just asked a simple question not ask for everyone's opinion. Could someone please help me out here. I just got a new black Grand Cherokee and I'm thinking about doing this.
OK, I think you have misunderstood me. I'm not talking about black wheels with a chrome lip but instead "Black Chrome" as a whole. Something like this...no problem man. i like to give a helping hand from time to time. the black and chrome holds up real good to what ive seen. i havent heard or read of any funk with the style of wheel. price is based on choice and what you want. they are made that way so no they arent chrome and then redone with the black.
I was told last night that they thought they were anodized. They also said it was a process thru powdercoating, Does that sound right? Theoritically what type wheel would you want to start with? Any idea on price for 4 wheels?Looks like they are just anodize. Either way they look better than shitty painted black wheels.
I talked to a friend yesterday about those wheels. He said that the finish is so delicate that you could scratch it with your fingernail... One of his rims actually had a few scuffs on it from mounting them. I'm not sure if it's all black chrome that is this delicate or just these. They look bad ass if your really careful mounting and driving.Like these?![]()
If that is the case couldn't you coat it with a couple layers of clear for protection? Does anyone have any pics of these mounted?I talked to a friend yesterday about those wheels.
