I ordered a set of keys today and was wonder what block I should put in the back. Is it ok to stack a block on top of the stock one? What size u-bolts do I need to buy? Also does anyone have any pics of NBS truck with 315s, body lift, and keys and blocks?

Stacking blocks is a bad idea. What I'd do is pull the stock block and put a 3" in its place. You'll gain an inch out back, and you'll still have a bit of rake, but not too much, once you crank. That setup will look good :imo

Say you currently have a 2 inch rake, if you get the keys, you'll sit level. If you want that extra bit of ass up, then put in a 3 inch block. If you like the level look, keep the stocker. I myself prefer the level look, or the ass slightly down, but thats probably because I'm from California:crazy:

Does it look level right now? I was thinking about putting a four inch block in back or stacking a 2 inch block on top of the stock one. Then cranking the torsion bars a bit with the ford keys. Would that be too much? Do you know what are the specs on the u bolts?

Chris, from that angle its hard to tell, but it looks fairly level to me. I'd get the Ford keys, and install them, then measure and see how much higher in the front than you are in the back, and decide which block to get from there. Due to the varying strengths of torsion bars, its hard to say how much lift you'll get up front from them. I'd either go for a set of 3 or 4 inch blocks, and play it safe and get some new ubolts too

Ill agree with everyone esle, its a bad practice to stack bolts. Also I would think of adding an add-a-leaf instead of a bigger block, that way you dont start to get axle wrap problems.

I have keys and add-a-leafs. I think I paid like 55.00 for them at the local 4 wheel parts warehouse. They ride alot better than stacked blocks in my opinion and for 20.00 dollars more you can't go wrong.
