Body lifts are not that difficult to install really, just more time consuming than everything. Soak down body bolts with some liquid wrench a day or so before you do the install. I think you can download the installation instructions to read over from performanceaccessories.com I have installed like 4 on old body styles and 1 on a new one.

They arnt that bad but like josh said, make sure you are confident and know what your doing. Make sure you have all the right tools and I would give it at least a weekend to complete. Its not hard, just tedious. As with any time your working on a truck make sure to be safe!.

Yes mine was fast but we had all the right tools, previous experiance and 3 people working. If youve never done it I would give it more time - just to be safe. Chances are it wont take that long but its better to be prepaired than stuck without a ride to work/school.

It took me to do a body lift on a dakota almost 2 days...i did most of the work and didn't have any air tools or anyhting. The only thing workin for me was that the truck had like 4K miles on it. It is pretty easy to do, but make sure you give yourself enough time...id say 2 days atleast to be on the safe side. Steering extension took me 3 hrs to put in...grind, file...all that stuff...its in there now tho...I think if I did one again, with some help, could prob get it done in 7-8 hrs without air tools and gettin it ALL done...just be safe, follow directions, and you will have no problems.

My lil cousin was trying to put a BL on a old Ford of his buddies. They got the wrong kit. But they were so pumped and started taking shit apart I didn't have the heart to tell them it wouldn't work. Poor bastards.

Where can I get one? Who makes it? I hate dealing with shops here in my hometown. They think that what they sell is the only way things should be done. It doesn't matter what new cool thing you show them it sucks untill they start selling it after you showed it to them and they bad mouthed it.
