This might sound stupid but I was wondering...do you guys happen to know if its possible for me to put a BL on my truck with the Grill Gaurd on there? Just didn't know if the GG would still line up with the headlights or sit lower. Thanks!

all you gatta do is goto your local fab shop and have them make some 3" extended brackets for your grille guard. Any welder could do it.

That's what I figured I was going to have to do. I'm probably going to run the BL because i'd like to run 305/70's on the 16x8's when I order them. I don't have a Fab shop close to me...but I could make the bracket, just need a sketch...Do you happen to have a sketch or something of what the bracket would look so I got something to go by?

If anybody is running a 3" BL w/ 33's, could you post some pic's please? Gonna try to get an idea of how mine will sit. Thanks

imnot familure with how they mount, but if its anything like my old manik they have a seperate bracket that bolts to teh frame and then the guard bolts to it, just re-create that bracket but 3" taller.

My truck is the 99' NBS, and i think they may be different than the OBS. I'll get some pics of the brackets as soon as I can get my digi back from my parents.

hmmmmmmmm, that setup is a bit different than mine. what i would do is get some flat metal, just as thick as the brackets that came with it and make a 3 inch by 1 1/2 or so piece, drill the holes and bolt them babys down. im all about visual though so if you dont know what i am talking about i could draw something up....

LOL yeah don't worry about drawing it up. I get what your saying. I was kinda thinking of my own design too...but its gonna be kind of a bitch. If I go ahead and decide to do a BL and modify the brackets, I'll post up some pics of what they look like.

BTW Kotton, those hooks are factory.
