I have a 09 silverado with the xr1 and I'm looking to upgrade the sound..Don't get me wrong I love the sound I just want something a little more aggressive sounding...What are some other options I can go with?

if you plan on getting headers then you might just wanna keep your xr1.. theyll increase the sound by themselves.. THEN if you want a more agressive sound, try something else.. straights with headers will be extremely loud though

Will there be any benefits of having two mufflers with the headers

If you run an x pipe instead of a y pipe, the power those headers will make will come up in higher RPM. If you're putting them on just an everyday vehicle, I'd keep the y setup.

Headers will definitely increase your sound. If I were you I would get them and decide if you want a new muffler. If you do maybe try a spin tech? I don't know of any others that are much louder then an xr1, or any muffler that style

Do you like you xr1? I was thinking of doing just the muffler swap or a full cat back but on the 6.2 its a 3.5" exhaust already. Good for daily driving?

Yea I love the sound of it..I listened to some YouTube videos of trucks with the same exhaust but with headers and all I can say is omg
