hi guys. I have a 1997 2wd suburban I had a 3” lift put on ( blocks on the rear rubber blocks on the front springs) the ride is horrible I’ve also had rough country extended shocks front and rear what am I missing ?

That's your answer right there, they ride like dog shit with spring spacers. You could remove those and go with a lift spindle (4") instead and it will ride much more like factory.

Your spindle is what your wheel hub and brakes are mounted to. A lift spindle moves your wheel mounting surface down, creating the lift. All other geometry stays stock, so the ride is much better.

I would ditch the rough country shocks. They are garbage. I had them on my tahoe and it would make it ride like a boat floating across the road. Go with Bilstein shocks.
