I feel stupid asking this question but I haven't been able to figure it out yet. But I also haven't tried too hard either. We bought a new car seat for my son today, he is moving out of the rear facing infant seat to the forward facing seat. I tried to put it behind my seat to see if it would fit because the infant seat was too long to fit behind my seat without me sitting in the dash, but the headrest was making it tilt forward. It goes great in the middle of the back seat where there is no headrest, which is where I will keep it for now anyway so that he is as far away from the side of the truck as possible, but one day we plan to have another kid and I will need to put it on the side then. Is there any way to remove the headrest on the back seat??? Truck is an 09 Silverado Ext. Cab.
Thanks in advance!

Yes. My tint guy did when he tinted my back glass. He raised them to their highest position and then used a small punch or pointed screw driver. There are small holes on either side of the plastic pieces where it goes into the actual seat. He pushed the seat material down around the plastic to find the holes, and then stuck the punch in the holes to release the headrest. I'm pretty sure you have to do it on both "poles" of the headrest.

Thanks...I actually went out first thing this morning and looked and saw the little holes. I used a little screwdriver and stuck it in the little holes. It came right out.

darn good info!!! I think I will need to try this on my truck one day, I know I tried it once to clean the back window but I couldn't do it, also it will give you a more wide view of what's behind you.
