I need to put another cap and rotor on my obs

It seems that it gets moisture and misfires not long after.

Abnd tips to prevent this. I have tried the wd-40 trick before

Is there an o-ring that's supposed to be there to seal the dizzy to the cap? Maybe a rubber boot like on Fords?

I noticed the same with my OBS, except mine won't start or has trouble starting when it builds up moisture and the the connectors get corroded. Last time i did mine i don't remember seeing any type of rubber.

Could you use some silicon?

This seems to be an issue with these trucks, more so with the cowl induction hoods. I have seen several of them do the same thing, I would try and seal it up and I really think Eric is onto something with that rubber boot like the fords have. I would give that a shot!

Probably will work, just don't go overboard with it. Dielectric may be smartest in this case
