pull 10 cover bolts, pry cover off, drain, shoot some brake parts cleaner in it, clean gasket area on diff and cover, RTV the cover, bolt it up, take 3/8" drive and unscrew plug in hog head near pinion, fill with some 80w90 till it seeps out, plug back up and ride on.

There is a drain and fill bolt on the front diff. Take the bottom bolt off and let it drain out. If you feel like it, stick a ruber tube down there and pump the rest out with a hand pump. Then replace the bolt and rake out the "fill" bolt (its on top) and re fill fluid till it seeps out. Replace bolt and as Nicholas says... "ride on".

thas gonna be tough on the front diff, but i think i can manage it with the rear
A monkey could change the rear. The front shouldnt be hard at all.

Ive always filled it so the level is one joint of my pinky below the fill plug hole bottom. No mess.

Just fill it up with a cheap dino 80w-90, Coastal is usually whats cheap at A-zone or Kragen. Just buy it by the gallon, I bought a cheap in-line hand pump that really helps in filling.

The front its ridiculously easy, takes less time than changing the engine oil.
