Are there any internal regulators that are adjustable for idle voltage?
Correct Hit man. As for internally adjustable regs, no. Every adjustable reg Ive seen is remote and they are also still dependant on rotor rpm for turn on or to "energize" itself.You can adjust the voltage up a couple volts with them for amps with unlimited powers supplies, but cannot adjust when it turns on.

I had awful 200A idle volt issues with my 3G Ford, went back to a 130A and it's fine. I just dont like th volt drop off as the accy's come on.

yeah if your truck has the alt that sits at the top of the motor with the three bolts to remove it? I think the pulley is 72 or 78 mm OD. I think its the biggest 6 groove available. Here's what you need, the smallest.A large hardend socket barely fits in it.:anitoof:
