My new roomate bought a chassis tech DC5000 for his 94 sonoma and we hooked it up and for 3 days it kinda worked but not really... then the comp didnt work at all. we got under it and checked all the wiring and relay and everything and all the eletrical works so we pulled the comp outta the bottom of the truck and the **** dont work! directly hooked up the comp to the battery and it spun for a few seconds then we coudlnt get it to work. now we are here in the dorms rooms with a pos comp. it smells like a burnt clutch... so any ideas on what to do? monday we are calling chassis tech but i just wondered if anyone had any problems like this TNA

As I stated on another forum:

Dude! You do know that Chassis Tech/Aim stuff is worth about as much as a bookstand right? Nothing they make is worth a dime and has no place to be on any vehicle....it's all total crap.
Do a search on here and the other forum for "aim" "shaim" "chassis tech" and you'll see the dozens and dozens of horror stories, crappy products, and absolutely nonexistant customer service.

yea but they came on here and tried to make things right
  :idiot:
..been there done that...damn
the best thing to do would be to have your roomate pick up the compressor. then, slowly walk over to the garbage can. tell him to bend over and place the compressor in the garbage. while he is bent down, slap him in the back of his head for buying something from AIM.

They will exchange it i'm sure... All you ned to do is pay for shipping yours back, Pay for shipping on the new one and probabally a 95% re-stocking fee so they can sell it to the next clown that comes along. lol

yea, it sucks that companies like AIM sell such crap. especially for people like your rommate who really want to work on their truck but cant really afford to at the moment. they see these prices from aim that seem too good to be true...but then find out that they really are. :flame:
anyone who buys from AIM needs to be slapped
