was there any computer tuning you needed to do to make it run good?

depends on if you buy new or used parts and find good deals or not, for valvetrain parts only I spent $540 for a brand new cam and the springs and pushrods had 3k miles on them.

well we could always start when we get back and finish up on sunday but I have no extra car in case we dont finish or we have any problems. Plus my pushrods havent arrived yet

i think the cam runs around $320ish new or so..not 100% sure though

was there any computer tuning you needed to do to make it run good?
his w4m pcm was retuned first but the truck didnt run correctly. yesterday it was tuned by a local tuner.

thanks guys, my computer is tore up so i havn't been able to get on except when im at matts house, but like matt said its a 224/224 .581''/.581'' 112lsa with Comp 918s and kromoley push rods, the who kit ran me like $675 from texas speed and the cam alone is around $389 i think, but thanks for the compliments guys next install is the 3500 stall!

my cam went in and was running in 8.5 hrs... its not a bad job... just make sure you have a good valve spring compressor... a way to keep the valves up while swapping springs. and a small torch or something to heat the crank pulley for reinstall... I have a couple clips of my truck since my cam went in that I have yet to load, they are still on my camera :nono: mine's a 224/227... that 224/224 has a nice even lope to it, mine;s a little more uneven sounding... its on a 113+3 LSA as well, with split lift. all running in front of a 3600 converter and 4.10's... :D
