I have been using the poorboys stuff on my rims for a while. I have been using the Spray Detailer, polish, and wheel sealer for a year or so. I went to the beach and I drove my down the beach and everything, so i finally got all the salt off my paint with the clay bar. I'm having issues with my rims.

I'm was wondering if clay bar will mess my chrome up because i tried my normal procedure! They didn't budge the salt!

should be fine. i used it on me bumper

i have used sos pads (kitchen pot scrubbing fine steel wool pads) on chrome with no problems, with a little water they will take off everything on the chrome. however do not use on polished wheels.

yes you can use a clay bar on your rims, just dont use it on your paint after. also you can try and use 0000 steel wool
