Hey guys, this is my first post on this website. I have been looking around for awhile now to a question I have had and could not find an answer. I have a 2007 Silverado LT (New body style) with a 5.5" lift. My truck is 2WD, so my lift is composed of 3" spindles and 3" blocks, as well as a 2.5" leveling kit on it, equaling 5.5" all the way around. I also have bilstein 5100 shocks/struts for my truck, so that is one issue solved. Anyways, since my truck is 2WD I do not go off road very often, so I am looking to get a 35" All Terrain tire. I've read everywhere that you need a minimum 6" lift to clear 35s, however M/Ts have bigger tread depth than A/Ts, so I was wondering if it was possible to clear some 35x12.50r20 A/Ts (Looking at getting the Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx tires) with only a 5.5" lift instead of 6". Thanks for y'alls input!
