90% perfect color match courtesy of PPG. paint mixed a little more beige than silver. can you see it?

it is much more apparent on the tailgate handle

i took the remaining 1/3 pint back and they added some more silver and then mixed up another 2/3 pint, which looked a little closer to the factory paint. i'm working on the flares right now.

ok WTF is with photobucket resizing everything? these were 800x600, but you get the picture i hope.

because i have a paint shop. the sandpaper, paint, primer and clearcoat to paint all the handles and 4 flares was under $100 and only took a few hours of my time. it 'aint custom if someone else does the work :read:

Oh, and AFAIK nobody cares if you have "custom" handles if they look the same as OEM ones lol :anitoof:

why buy stock colormatched stuff??? its way cheaper to just paint it yourself

you missed the point... and obviously also missed the long discussion we had on the word custom. it might be a common mod, but i did all the work myself and enjoy doing things like that. i'm not going to pay $150 for handles when i can paint them for half that. i'm customizing my truck, so kindly :STFU:
