So i finaly got around to making my custom valance and tow hooks after riping both off on seperate offroad excursions. The tow hooks are off of a obs chevy, i drilled a new hole in the hook between the two stock holes, so that it would line up with the two vertical holes already in the end of the gmcs frame....i then bolted them on with grade 8 half inch bolts. I cut the valance out of a sheet 1/8in steel dimond plate with a torch and used a sanding disc to make the cuts smooth and the angles right to fit against the bumper. It is mounted with two mounting brackets that bolt in the bottom of each frame horn. I like it alot better than the factory plastic piece that hangs down way to far. Let me know what u think good or bad......

i guess when that happens ill fab up some sort of clevis mount, but for the time being this should get me by....cant be any worse than the ones that came stock. I cant complain to much, the price was right (free).
