I need help.

I scratched the glove box door on my wife's Yukon and now I need to fix it.

I'm not sure how to do it and keep it looking factory.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That was my thought, but I don't want to lose any of the texture.
Do you happen to know the SEM paint code for this?

I think if you use a fine grit scotch brite pad it should feather it with out taking away the texture. The color code should be in the glovebox in the rpo codes. It could be shale? Is it the lighter gray on the bottom or lighter tan?

I'm pretty sure its the light gray on bottom and dark gray on top.

The RPO code(s) are 921 and 922.

TRIM COMBINATION - LEATHER, MED DK PEWTER II/VERY DK PEWTER, (2) (01)
TRIM COMBINATION - LEATHER, SHALE/PEWTER (2) (97)
TRIM COMBINATION - LEATHER, MED DK PEWTER (2) (97)

I'm not sure which is which there.

Using the SEM color chart it looks like its shale and medium dark pewter.

Does this sound right?

Shale is a lighter tan where as med dark pewter is a light gray. If it does end up being shale I have a brand new can of sem that I ordered through summit a month ago and it wasnt the right color for my 99 OBS tahoe. Pm me it you need it
