how much you want for a tuner with car kit and FM modulator? i can get the roady kit on eBay for like $90, but i might have to try the skyfi since it fits so nicely in the overhead console.blueice said:buy it from me, i sell xm radio
so you just stuck it in there where the filler panel goes? imma have to get me one of these consoles.gabeherndon said:its just on there with some 3m 2sided. Nothing too fancy. I didn't want to cut into it because I will want to take that out when I sell the truck.
the roady is $119 and $149 with the fm modulatorhovisimo said:how much you want for a tuner with car kit and FM modulator? i can get the roady kit on eBay for like $90, but i might have to try the skyfi since it fits so nicely in the overhead console.

I imagine it could be from slight to severe depending on your fm antenna reception ability. Basicly the built in modulator broadcasts a FM signal and the antenna picks it up and sends it to the HU. With hardwire it just adds its signal to the rest of the signals coming from what the antenna already recieved, so I imagine no loss in quality. Where as the modulator could be from zero loss to a decent amount is my guess depending on the reception of the signal from the roady.blwclvl said:I was hoping to get my head unit set up for it....but, eclipse has been "coming out with it" since last June....go figure.
