Has anyone else noticed that the clip is still behind the panel on the non dic pannel. The clip that holds the switch in.

Since the panel is backordered, I was thinking about cutting the hole out myself, if it works i save $31+shipping, if it doesn't I have to buy something I was going to buy anyways.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to cut this? Dremmel? Utility Knife? Also someone who has the DIC panel could you measure the hole (very accurately) so I can cut it the same size on mine.

This is all pending that GMPD actually ships my order before next year, They have horrible customer service.

skip through all the bullshit below and post your thoughts none of those posts have anything to do with the thread haha

Wow, I just noticed you have the 4.3 with a long bed and 3.23 rear. How's that do on take-off? How about mileage?

thanks you fucks, I use the long bed, thats why I bought it, not sure why I have to explain that in every thread. 4.30 gears are going in after tax time, I just can't afford it right now.

My brother just bought an '09 Long bed reg cab ram with the 4.7 and some kind of 3.2x or 3.5x rear. I am curious how your combo compares.

the low end isnt bad, the 4.3 has good lowend. The only real issue I have is maintaing highway speeds with the bigger tires. I just ordered a trans cooler but as of now the trans gets too hot when in overdrive going 70ish down the highway. I honestly cannot wait to do the gear swap.

Damn, no kidding. That seems like a major issue for a brand new truck.

i put 33" tires on a truck with a small engine and 3.23 gears, its my own fault. Prior to the tires it was fine, I just can't keep it from locking/unlocking the torque converter and shifting in and out of overdrive when going down the highway, once the gears are in it will be better off than stock. WHY THE FUCK they put 3.23 gears in any truck is beyond me. I got the thing brand new for $10,850 out the door so mods here and there don't bother me cause i paid like nothing for the truck.

measure your dic butons. the hole is just a tad larger. i just dont see how u can do this. because u have to align it perfectly. but i think its outlined on the back of ur stock panel
