so tonight i was flipping my usual 6 point U-turn and while i was rolling backward i shifted it to drive like usual and hit the gas to go and the truck died. Full on shut off. I threw it in to park and tried to start it and would not start, went to drive back to park and it still wouldnt start. It took 5 tries then it finally fired and drove normal.

Anyone else experienced this? It kinda scared me because its never died on me before. Is it a defense mechanism from GM in the PCM?

only thing i can think of was that it maybe was rolling backward too fast/too much and sent it into shock.
