i blew up my diff yesterday (time for an upgrade :) ) any suggestion on where to get a good one?? preferably a locker. btw its a 10 bolt, 8.6, 30 spline, 3.42 i think

Should be "Boom" not "Bomb" fyi. Sucks though.

the Eaton LSD is also another option. it's clutch driven rather than gear driven like the True Trac.

I dislike clutched lockers because the clutches always wear out and you also have to add the LSD additive.

TruTrac sucks. :crazy:

true the clutches can wear out, but the Eaton LSD seems to go a LONG time before needing to rebuilt.

I've had both a clutch based LSD and a true trac, and so far I'm far more impressed with the true trac. Mainly because the true trac hasn't blown up on me. :jester:
